During your trip to Slovakia you should not miss a visit of Ochtinská Aragonite Cave, which is located in the village of Ochtiná near Rožňava. Ochtinská Cave is unique not only in European measures but it is of worlds importance as well.

Ochtniská Aragonite Cave is open to the public since 1972. From the overall length of 300 meters is currently open 235 m.

This Cave is completely different from other caves. It consists of tufts, twigs and bushes of milk white creations - aragonite. In the world there are reportedly only three caves of this type, decorated with spirals and needles - in Mexico, Argentina and Slovakia.
