Museum of Wheels ETOP in Trenčín is, as it is obvious from the title, presents one of the greatest inventions of mankind - the wheel. Its initial discovery dates back to around the year 3500 BC in what is now Iraq, the former Mesopotamia.

It were the findings of chariots of the Sumerians. The first wheels were made of wood or stone. Their development from the earliest times to the present you can see in our private specialized technical museum, located in central Trenčín, near the historic building of Hotel Tatra.

The exposition exhibits are also closely related to wheels and guests also have the opportunity to look up DVD movie about the founder of the first assembly lines - Henry Ford.

You will enjoy the tour thanks to our new facilities in a modern building, which interior includes part of the castle rock of Trenčín Castle.

Museum of Wheels in Trenčínn is located on Štefániková Street, near the railway and bus stations. It is open daily from 9:00-17:30 am. during working days. If interested, you can as well order visits outside the specified time period.
