In 1983 was founded the Museum of Crafts in Mošovce. This museum was created during 750th anniversary of the municipality. Exhibition of crafts is located in Révay family chape, which was built in 1911.

Révay chapel served as a family tomb. Museum offers its visitors a view of the glorious history of some Mošovce crafts - blacksmithing, carpentry, wheelwright, cooperage, shoemaking, alpine dairy, beekeeping, furrier and more.

In addition to crafts, visitors can see the kitchen tools like scales, utensils used for butter churning, hand blenders, coffee roasting tools, pumpkins and cucumbers graters and other devices used in the household.

Articles such as spinning wheel, reed and healds document processing flax and hemp. Through these objects, visitors are being acquainted with the way of life of our ancestors.

The oldest craft was shoemakers, which was established in 1548. The most famous Mošovce craft was furrier, which was founded in 1685.

Mošovce were in the 18. century an important craft center of Turiec region. In Mošovce worked shoemakers (16th - 19th cent.), blacksmiths and wheelwrights (17th-19th cent.), furriers (17th-19th cent.), tailors (17th-19th cent.), butchers (17th-19th cent.), locksmiths (18th cent.), drapers (18th-19th cent.), carpenters and locksmiths (19th cent.) tanners (19 st.), saddlers (19th cent.), button manufacturers (19th cent.), millers (19 st.), blacksmiths and carpenters (19th cent.).
