Museum of the Tatra National Park in Tatranská Lomnica is a specialized museum related to protection of Tatra National Park nature with special focus on the presentation of animate and inanimate nature and human activity in this area.

The museum is fulfilling its vital cognitive, documentation, presentation and educational function. The exhibits on the geology, flora and fauna, history and ethnography in the territory of the Tatra Mountains are in daily care of professionals from research station and Museum of State Forests of Tatra National Park.

For interested visitors the museum offers screenings of videos and lectures dealing with nature in the national park.

A unique place here are not only informational materials about the Tatra National Park, maps, calendars, greeting cards or Tatry magazine, but also literature on the topic of history and nature protection in the Tatras.

Exposition of Tatra national park Museum is well accessible for people with reduced mobility as well.
