At an altitude of 1400 - 1900 m above sea level lies the Ski resort Štrbské Pleso - paradise for skiers and snowboarders. Nine ski slopes, three chairlifts, three lifts and two ski jumps are located here.
Neither cross-country skiers wont stay dissapointed. There are 18 trails ready for them. For snowboarders K2 Park is open with lots of obstacles. From extreme sports we suggest you to try SnowParagliding.
However, you can experience the adrenaline rush with children on a snowmobile. More adrenaline attractions offers fun park (such as tubing or rafting).
High Tatras - Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso and Starý Smokovec is a top ski resort in the beautiful alpine surroundings of the High Tatras with a total length of nearly 22 km of ski runs and excellent conditions for winter sports and hiking at altitude above 2000 m.
Transport capacity of 20 lifts in all three centers is 21,385 people per hour. Modern artificial snow system provides snow guarantee at least 5 months of the year. Lovers of winter fun can enjoy a pleasant sledging on Hrebienok or unusual attractions - skifox, snowscoot.
