Ski resort Šachtičky the right choice for your winter holiday in Slovakia. Located in the westernmost part of the Nízke Tatry mountain range, about 10 km from Banská Bystrica. This resort does not offer hard slopes. Most of the ski runs are of moderate and light difficulty.
You can ski on the slopes of Panský diel (1102 meters). The advantage of the ski resort is proximity to the metropolis of central Slovakia Banská Bystrica.
Ski resort Ski Šachtičky is easily accessible, its terrain is diverse and is visited mostly during weekend days. Ski runs are accessible almost directly from the road. Two ski runs in this resort are allowed to organize international events in the FIS.
Artificial snow production is available. In the area of the resort is located about 5 km cross-country trails. West of the resort, in a narrow valley, is the village of špania Dolina, which is a reservation area of folk architecture.
