Ski Makov ski resort is located in the village Makov, in the interface of Javaorníky and Beskydy mountains, in the district of Čadca - Žilina Region, in Kysuce.
Ski resort Ski Makov is especially popular among young families with children, thanks to wide ski slopes, allowing safe skiing. Ski runs are moderate and light (a total length of 6,050 meters) situated at an altitude of 660-948 m. The runs are reguralry groomed.
The resort has 4 ski lifts with a total capacity of 2,850 persons. / Hr., 3 km of snow routes with possibility of artificial snowing and 1,200 m long illuminated runs. Average length of the season is 90 days. There is free parking for 260 passenger cars, which is located right next to the lift. The resort can be easily accessed.
Lifts run daily 9:00 to 16:00 pm.
During night skiing lifts operate 18:00 to 20:30.
Night skiing is possible every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and over the Christmas holidays every evening.For night skiing is reserved ski run No. 1 with a length of 1 200 m and operated by lifts B and A.

In the resort, directly by the lifts, there is bar where it is possible to sit inside or on the sheltered terrace and viewing the ski runs. Skiers have refreshments available in the cafeteria at the top lift station, right at the crest of Javorníky, with a nice view of the resort and Beskydy mountain range. There is also a children's park SKIFUN, a snow park, snow tubing, ski and snowboard rental and ski servicing available. For beginners ski and snowboard school and kindergarten is available which is operated by the company MOUNTSCHOOL.
Beskydsko - Javornícka cross-country ski Trail follows the ridge of Javorníky, over the top of Čerenka -948 m high peak. Ski lift exports the skiers up to the ridge that connects to the ridge of Beskidy.
