The ski resort is located in Kremnické hills, about 10 km from the pretty historic mining town of Kremnica. Skalka Arena is popular mainly because of its 60 km of cross-country ski trails. Besides these the ski resort offers more than 5 km of downhill runs - two blue, four red and two black. Beginners as well as experienced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy this locality. Altitude of well-maintained trails is around 1200 m above sea level. Cross-country trails are certified by International Ski Federation (FIS) and European Cross County Ski Federation. Snowboarders will appreciate ski terrain obstacles like rails, boxes, so-called Rainbow and also be able to jump on a kicker.

Free parking throughout the resort. Cars should have good winter tires and it is recommended to have snow chains ready as well.
