The bike route is led along asphalt roads and dams. Total length of the route is about 250 km and it can be ridden by a road bike.
Váh river bike route starts in Piešťany at the Colonnade Bridge. There is a possibility to turn in Brunovce, the route continues towards Považany where arises nice view of the Považský Inovec ridge, with the ruins of the castle Tematín.
The route continues towards Nové Mesto, next to the village of Beckov (option of castle ruins visit) to Trenčín.
The other interesting places along the route are Považská Bystrica and Považské Podhradie. There is as well a possibility of visiting Považský hrad castle ruins. The route continues to Žilina and ends in Považský Chlmec near Budatín castle.
